"We hired Julie to do a quick review of math skills with our three teenagers as they prepared for the SAT and ACT. The two that needed the least amount of help appreciated the review and tips she offered. They both were pleased with their results. My third child needed more time with Julie as she hadn’t been taught all the math concepts she would need to take the SAT. This child has an aptitude for math and benefited from the extra tutoring needed to be brought up to speed. She hasn’t received her results yet but feels good about her performance in the math section. As a former math teacher, Julie is very adept at reading a child and working with parents on ways to reach the child. In our case a quiet, guarded teen.
